This year's conference is being run in conjunction with Democracy 250 "Celebrating 250 Years of Parliamentary Democracy in Canada" taking place in Nova Scotia.
As the birth place of parliamentary democracy, as well as the birthplace of freedom of the press and responsible government in our country, Nova Scotia’s pioneering role in shaping our nation’s democratic institutions has helped secure the rights and freedoms Canadians today embrace.
It’s a story Nova Scotians can be proud of and all Canadians should celebrate.
BNAPEX+2008+NOVAPEX invites you to join Democracy 250 in 2008 as we recognize a proud first for our province and an important milestone for our country.
Democracy 250 will be having an information table at the BNAPEX+2008+NOVAPEX Convention, and may be providing a speaker to attend the opening ceremony.
More information on Democracy 250 can be found at www.democracy250.ca
